OLD SCHOOL SUMMER INSPO

Summer is one hundred percent my favourite season. I'm doing a summer semester for school and to say it's a pain in the butt is an understatement.

It's been super warm the past few days here in Hali. Having to spend time in classes and working on assignments instead of laying around on a beach and being in the ocean feels like torture on some days.

Luckily, I'll be heading straight to a beach vacation with my family after I finish exams.

I've been collecting a lot of pictures over the past few months for summer-wear inspiration and thought I would share, especially since I've been too busy to put together posts lately.

ALL DENIM EVERYTHING

I have a love affair with denim.
Maybe I just have good luck when it comes to finding them, but my collection of jeans is pretty large and full of pairs that I actually find comfortable. During the colder months, you'll find me in jeans pretty much every day.
I'm a fan of the Canadian Tuxedo (especially for spring) and have been wearing chambray shirts with jeans since high school. It's been rocked by many from Queen Bey to Ralph Lauren. I find it classic and edgy with a western-y twist. It's simple and it's casual. There are ton of different ways to wear denim-on-denim.

ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY @ COACHELLA 2015

I am a fan of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's style and am loving her looks from Coachella this year. She looked stunning in her Cholé dress, and the straps and hardware on her Coach Rivets Dakotah bag gave her looks a laid-back feel.

Not to mention how amazing Kate Bosworth looked as well. She's another woman who's style I love. 

I've been scrolling through pictures of what people are wearing to Coachella on Instagram. Lots of inspiration for summer 2015 is popping up!

I only discovered the live feed on Saturday evening so I've been moping around because of all of the artists I wish I could've seen (Milky Chance, Chet Faker, Lykke Li). I watched Hozier and was up at 2:25 in the morning here watching The Weeknd perform on Saturday night. I caught Vance Joy and Drake (umm Madonna?) last night.

Trying to make it through an eight and a half hour work day today since the time difference from Cali to here meant I was up until 3 AM to watch all of Drake's set... Wish me luck and lots of coffee please.

Hopefully I'll make it out to Coachella one year, not just for the music and art, but being a creep and checking out people's super rad outfits.

VALENTINO S/S 2015 RTW

I really liked Valentino's Spring/Summer 2015 show, especially the ocean creatures in some of the dresses. I'll be returning to it for inspiration when getting dressed as the weather gets warmer.
